Pkew Pkew Pkew are one the most criminally underrated bands in North America. Hailing from Toronto, this pop-punk four-pack of party-loving delinquents have spent the better part of a decade relentlessly touring Canada, the US and Europe with bands like PUP, Reel Big Fish, The Flatliners and a bunch more. Their song “Mid 20s Skateboarder” was featured in the 2020 reboot of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. They’ve appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers and performed at Riot Fest. They’ve released a slew critically acclaimed albums and EPs on kickass labels like Side One Dummy, Dine Alone and Royal Mountain…. and the list of accolades just keeps going. Basically they’re just rad AF and you should be listening to them right now. While their 2022 album Open Bar (Dine Alone) was all about avoiding the Pandemic completely, their upcoming full-length, Siiick Days, is all about dealing with it. Recently restructured (Ryan left to go live in the mountains but remains a best bud and the wonderful Kate joined up), the band has crafted an incredibly thoughtful, cohesive, introspective and hilariously joyful album. Most of the songs were written in solitary moments walking to the grocery store, riding the subway or hanging out in the Farside bathroom. Siiick Days was recorded over ten days in Asbury Park by the awesome Pete Steinkopf from The Bouncing Souls. Pete’s a really cool dude (ask anyone) and has worked with The Menzingers, Dave Haus, The Love Ones, Crazy & The Brains and a bunch more, so you know the album sounds absolutely killer. With a worrisome amount of touring booked, a buttload of insane videos ready to go and a wicked album full of bangers in the pipe, Pkew3 are poised to go from underrated to overrated with any luck.

Formed in 2019 out of a need to create something heavy and thought-provoking, Patrick Briggs asked Jillian Clair to join him in his newest musical project, Mvll Crimes (pronounced “Mall Crimes"). Writing their first EP in an afternoon, and recording it in the same amount of time, Patrick waited until Jill finished her masters degree before recording her vocals. Finishing the formation of the band with the best musicians they know; Bassist, Laurie McColeman and Drummer, Evan Martin, Mvll Crimes would self-release their 2020 debut tape Rovdside Vttrvctions just as the COVID-19 pandemic swept the world and closed every venue. Not resting on their laurels, Mvll Crimes would take this time to write and record their 2021 follow up EP Bootlicker's Delight and begin touring their native Canada as soon as restrictions began lifting. Catching the attention of up-andcoming Toronto record label Cursed Blessings Records, Mvll Crimes would record and release their latest 2022 effort You Embvrrvss Me on vinyl and digital distribution through the label. Mvll Crimes have since began working with South Paw Booking who covers all their Canadian touring dates, and are currently working with American managers to coordinate U.S. touring.
