Bio
The New Hires are an indie rock band from Ottawa, ON. Known for their catchy hooks and energetic live performances, their latest EP ‘Talking to the Walls’ produced by Thomas D’Arcy (NOBRO, The Sheepdogs, July Talk), weaves listeners through experiences of social anxieties and personal challenges on the path to self-discovery.
Their creative blend of 2000’s rock nostalgia and modern indie sounds continue to pack some of Ontario’s most notable venues. Supporting artists such as JUNO award-winners JJ Wilde and Dear Rouge, Hotel Mira and DURRY, the dapper 5-piece have been showcasing their back-to-basics approach delivering anthemic ballads and high-energy rock songs you can’t help but sing along to.
The New Hires are Max (Vocals), Phil (Guitar), Aidan (Guitar), Christian (Drums) and Jack (Bass).
