You can blame James Clark for many things, yes it may be “Still Snowing Outside” (his late 2025 holiday hit), but you can’t fault his ability to write fun, snappy power pop singles.

“Reluctantly In Love” drops on Friday February 13th, unlucky for some but very timely for those who celebrate Valentine’s Day’.

Once again produced by Moe Berg (The Pursuit Of Happiness/Trans-Canada Highwaymen) Moe even plays on the single.

“Moe Berg came up with a killer guitar sound for the opening riff and I was thrilled that he played it on the record” says band leader James Clark.

Speaking about “Reluctantly In Love” James says “It’s me poking fun at myself. Seemingly, I’m not very good with commitment or so I’ve been told several times in the past. I’m not saying it’s true but I currently live all alone. Ladies, don’t ever fall in love with me.”

A new Sean Ryan (fellow member of Flash Bangs) video for the single

will be released on February 14 and promises to be sweeter than a box

of chocolates and longer lasting than a dozen roses.

Following the international success of 2023’s album “Under The Lampshade” and 2021’s

“The Colour Of Happy” (both produced by Berg) this is the first single from their untitled new album that should be ready this fall.
