Today I’m sharing the latest from Toronto-based singer-songwriter, Nelson Sobral. “Built To Last” is a stirring roots-rock anthem about resilience, connection, and the bonds that endure. Featuring guest harmonies from friend and fellow musician Tay Guitard, the song is a compelling and comforting number, melding bluesy rock with Americana and an alt-country approach. “Built To Last” will be released on all streaming platforms on September 5th.

“I wrote “Built To Last” thinking about the rare connections that stand the test of time,” Nelson says. “It came together quickly, almost like it was waiting for me to catch up. I recorded it myself, and when Mattie (Leon) mixed and produced it—with Tay’s harmonies lifting everything—it felt like the exact way it was meant to sound: warm, real, and lived-in.”
