🎙️☕️ Radio Day at the Inclusion Coffee House!
L’Arche Hamilton is a Canadian charity found in 1978, they have been working to build shared-life communities where people with and without intellectual disabilities live, learn, work and belong together. Their mission is to highlight the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities and build relationships that transform all of us.
One of those spaces is the Inclusion Coffee House, a public cafe run by community members inside the Bernie Morelli Recreation Centre. Launched in December 2021, it’s a volunteer-led, inclusive cafe where anyone can drop in for homemade pastries, desserts, and coffee brewed with locally roasted Detour beans.
The cafe is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.!
