The ’90s band — responsible for hits such as “Today I Hate Everyone” and “Dana” — and Juno-winner for best new group in 1997, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary.”
30 years!!! Funny how time tricks your mind. It still feels like the other day everybody was laughing and having fun watching The Munday Nuns play the Corktown on a Friday night. I still remember the jingle jangle of the Nuns and the transistion into power - pop Killjoys. It wasn’t a real stretch for the band , the elements of the punk and influence of Big Star , Replacements and others of the era where they came from were there.
