Peter Elkas, a Montreal-born singer-songwriter, formerly of indie rockers Local Rabbits, has performed with, collaborated with and inspired the likes of Joel Plaskett, Feist, Aaron Goldstein, Metric, Sebastien Grainger, Ron Sexsmith, Rheostatics, Neko Case, Burt Neilson Band. Elkas returns an exact year after his previous Casbah performance.

Deseronto is a Hamilton-based power-pop project founded & fronted by songwriter Cam Malcolm (Sweet Homewreckers, Huron, Secret Heights). His band/record includes Adam Melnick, Dan Edmonds, Dan Empringham, Jimmy Hayes. This will be their Casbah debut, but all of Cam's previous groups have had a home at our venue.

Opening the night will be the musical wizardry of Hamilton's Hindleg (Dave Hind). After a pair of capacity crowds enjoyed Hindleg in our lounge, this is Hindleg's "big-stage debut".

This triple bill is a Spring-time highlight in the Hamilton music scene.
