Women in Music Hamilton Presents Femme Rising Volume 1 Thu, Jul 31 at 8:00 PM EDT at Mills Hardware

FEAT. CHELSEA REYNOLDS + BERNADETTE CONNORS + CHELSEA McWILLIAMS + MELISSA DUTCH

Chelsea Reynolds is a singer-songwriter based in Hamilton, Ontario. After years of training as a classical pianist, she traded complicated keys in favour of simple strings and a notebook. A self-proclaimed “bootgaze” artist, her introspective and melodic songs take on the form of dreamy cowgirl rock n’ roll. With the unmistakable influence of the clever country storytellers that came before her, Reynolds prioritizes honesty and vulnerability above all else in her writing. She tackles themes of infatuation, grief, femininity, and civic discourse. Every song is a confession.

Bernadette Connors is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for her authentic and powerful voice. Growing up in a family-run music store in Georgina, Ontario, she was immersed in music from an early age. Her 2024 single “History” showcased a bold new chapter in her artistry, leading to “White Magnolia”, co-written with MacDonald and Stu Weinberg. With performances alongside Suzie McNeil and The Trews (including a duet with Colin MacDonald), Bernadette continues to make her mark on the Canadian music scene. Her music tells stories of resilience, love, and life’s journey, making her an artist to watch.
