This & That: Bleach Dreamer single “White Lighter”

BLEACH DREAMER ANNOUNCES NEW
EP SURRENDER—A CINEMATIC
DESCENT INTO LOVE, LOSS, AND
LETTING GO

Hamilton, ON — Dream-pop project Bleach Dreamer returns this May with Surrender, a
four-track EP that captures the fragile space between holding on and walking away.
Blending cinematic 80s textures with modern indie atmosphere, Surrender unfolds like a
late-night drive through memory—where desire lingers, clarity slips, and emotion
doesn’t always match reality.

Opening with the haunting pull of “Heaven Sent,” the EP introduces a world where
connection feels fated but remains just out of reach. At the center of the record is “White
Lighter,” the EP’s emotional and sonic core. With its volatile, exposed energy, the track
channels restless emotion and quiet self-destruction beneath a haze of distortion and
longing—marking one of Bleach Dreamer’s most immediate and instinctive recordings
to date.

“I Could See The World” follows, driven by a sweeping, hypnotic refrain and elevated by
harmonies from Hamilton songstress Carrie Clark, adding lift and depth to one of the
EP’s most expansive moments.

Closing track “Jennifur” drifts into a more intimate, reflective space, featuring harmonies
and an outro from Erin Lyon. The track captures the lingering weight of a connection
that never fully resolves—where feeling remains long after clarity has faded.

Across Surrender, Bleach Dreamer leans into the emotional contradictions that define
modern relationships—the way people project meaning, stay longer than they should,
and blur the line between what’s real and what they want to believe. It’s not framed as
weakness, but as something deeply human.

The accompanying artwork—featuring blurred hands reaching in the dark—mirrors the
EP’s core idea: connection that feels close but never fully within reach.

With Surrender, Bleach Dreamer continues to carve out a space where vulnerability
meets restraint—where the most powerful moments aren’t shouted, but felt in the
spaces between.
