
Vancouver, BC ~ Paul Mercs Concerts is pleased to announce Monster Truck as the opening act for rock pioneers Deep Purple in Ottawa, London, Toronto and Hamilton as part of Deep Purple’s Smoke on the Nation Tour, Canada 2012.

Hamilton-based Monster Truck was formed in 2009 and consists of Jon Harvey on bass and lead vocals, Jeremy Widerman on guitar, Brandon Bliss on the organ and Steve Kiely on drums. The band’s influences gelled in a cohesive and exciting new take on all of the classic rock that had come before them and they quickly realized that they had something that was undeniably fun and exciting on their hands.
Monster Truck has released two EP’s including their most recent The Brown EP, which has been released on Dine Alone Records. The band has opened for a wide range of great rock acts from Steel Panther to The Sheepdogs. Monster Truck has quickly become known for their live show and their growing confidence on stage is more apparent than ever.
