Lou Molinaro Hey Gang...
Hope all of you are doing well!
There were a lot of Rock N Roll fans who were hit hard by the loss of Gary Moore this past weekend. In my opinion, Gary Moore was one of those great guitar players who had an amazing tone backed up by a melodic yet ferocious style. He leaves behind a great body of work. We'll spin some of his music immediately following the MP3 OF THE WEEK.
Speaking of which...today's MP3 connects Chas Chander of the Animals to an Irish band from the late 70's. Once again, THANK YOU ROB SWEENEY! Your sleeping bag looks great in our living room!
Also on the show today...Bill Majoros whose band THE FOREIGN FILMS will be releasing their new CD! They party it up this Saturday night at This Aint Hollywood with CITY AND THE SEA (who are also releasing their new record this weekend) and Matt Paxton.
Dinner Belles, a super cool local band, perform once again for their annual Valentine's Dinner and Dance at the Casbah. A real earthy kind of band with tire tracks to show their worth! They will also be taking part in this year's CFMU benefit in a few weeks!
Manolis stops in at 3pm for a coffee, and lots of cool music and requests.

RIP - Grandma Bebee...
"And he took the stars in his hands
And as he scattered them he'd shout
"I'm the joker of the universe
I'm what it's all about."
Now he's dying in his grief
And the hard men dragged him down
They have killed the wild-eyed jester
They have killed the fireclown
Now his blind eyes seek the starlight
And his fingers seek controls
To take him into space again
Where he was both young and old
The dancers stiff with pain
And they've made him kneel too long
And the madness they have driven out
They've left him cold and sane."
Lou
